Geebee has been closely associated with Government departments for KUT (Potassium Uranium and Thorium) exploration using Bore hole logging techniques.

In uranium exploration the advantage of KUT logging is that (aside from disequilibrium problems) the occurrence of potassium, uranium and thorium are geologically distinct.

This is of particular advantage in cases of low grade uranium deposits where KUT logging allows the determination of a true uranium deposit to be distinguished from a thorium deposit. Geebee along with expert scientists provides logging services and consultancy on logging instruments to the Minerals Division of India. We are currently developing our own range  of spectral gamma detectors for this purpose.
