    Libera XBS FE Remote Front-End Module

    Overview

    The Libera XBS FE is a remote analog front-end module designed to enhance the long-term stability and measurement accuracy of Beam Position Monitoring (BPM) systems. Installed close to the beam position monitor itself, the module performs signal switching at the source, minimizing the influence of cable-induced drifts before signals are transmitted to the BPM electronics.

    By relocating critical signal conditioning functions closer to the pickup, the Libera XBS FE helps preserve measurement integrity over extended cable runs. This architecture enables stable and repeatable beam position measurements even when BPM electronics are located significant distances from the accelerator tunnel.

    Working in conjunction with Libera Brilliance+ and compatible third-generation BPM modules, the system provides exceptional long-term stability for demanding accelerator environments where signal quality and measurement precision are critical.
