The complete amplifier must be contained in a standard 19” cabinet, maximum dimensions 44 standard units high, 19” wide, 1000 mm deep.

The amplifier must feature an on-board colour touch-screen display logic, a GUI (local or remote) and an SNMP remote control

The amplifier continue operating even in case of control logic failure feature an on-board colour touch-screen display logic, a GUI (local or remote) and an SNMP remote control.

The amplifier must be composed of minimum nr. 3 independent combined amplifiers.

Each of the minimum nr. 3 independent combined amplifiers must house both the power supplies and the RF stage to allow easy maintenance.

Each of the minimum nr. 3 independent combined amplifiers must be equipped with minimum nr. 2 independent blowers replaceable from the cabinet rear hence avoiding to open the amplifier chassis and neither remove the amplifiers from the cabinet.

The Amplifier Blowers must be complete with a speedometer with remote speed indication and must be speed controlled by temperature.

Each of the minimum nr. 3 independent combined amplifiers must feature an air filter. The air filter must be removable for cleaning from the front panel without the use of any tool whatsoever, but only by hand.

Each of the minimum nr. 3 independent combined amplifiers must be composed of multiple independent RF PALLETTS, all identical and working in parallel. They must be easily replaceable for easy maintenance.

RF PALLETTS must have an EFFICIENCY greater than 50%.

Each of the minimum nr. 3 independent combined amplifiers must be provided with on-board local display and keyboard that allows full local control.

The on-board logic of each amplifier must be equipped with a hard reset button on the front panel

Each of the minimum nr. 3 independent combined amplifiers must be equipped with an RJ45 connector on the front panel for monitoring purposes and 3 Led for a quick overview of the amplifier module status.

Each of the minimum nr. 3 independent combined amplifiers must be equipped with an independent IP Adress for FW and SW update, independent from the communication IP Address

Each of the minimum nr. 3 independent combined amplifiers will communicate with the central logic in CAN BUS

From EACH power amplifier module on-board LCD monitoring display, it must be possible to monitor at least:

- Firmware Identification Number/Version

- Hardware Boards Identification Number/Version

- Firmware Identification Number/Version of each on-board power supply

- Direct module power, both in dBc and Watt

- Reflected module power, both in dBc and Watt

- Amplifier temperature

- Temperature of each individual on-board power supply

- Output Voltage of each individual on-board power supply

- Input Voltage to each individual on-board power supply

- Output Amperes of each individual on-board power supply

- Absorbed Power of each individual on-board power supply

- Individual on-board power supply voltage regulation between 20 and 50Volt

- Total Transistor Current

- Individual Transistor Current of each on-board power transistor

- Overcurrent

- Interlock status

The independent combined amplifiers must be must be equipped with at least nr. 3 (three) independent on-board power supplies EACH.

All on-board power supplies must be hot-pluggable and it must be possible to extract them directly from the front-panel. They must be easily replaceable and therefore it must be possible to substitute them during amplifier operation without using any tool (extraction and plug-in must be done by hand).

All on-board power supplies must be widely available on the market supplied by primary brand and not built specifically for the amplifier.

The on-board power supplies of each of the minimum nr. 3 independent combined amplifiers must be in N+1 configuration: the failure or absence of nr.1 power supply must not affect the power output of the individual amplifier

The contemporary fault of Nr.1 power supply on each of the individual power amplifier modules must not cause any reduction of the total output power of the overall system.

Warnings & Alarms

- Direct module power alarm

- Reflected module power alarm

- Amplifier temperature alarm
